How much would you risk for a child who isn't yours?
An ingenious, taut, global thriller for fans of Linwood Barclay and Harlan Coben... * * * * * * * When struggling journalist Harper returns a dress to the shop she bought it from that morning, she sees the same little girl sitting in the exact same place she saw her hours ago. No one in the shop knows who the girl is. No desperate parents have contacted mall security to say they've lost their daughter. And the local police have no new reports of a missing child. The girl says she misses her mother. But why is nobody looking for her? And what if finding her home is the worst thing you could do? * * * * * * * From the chilly streets of New York City to the electric blue skies of coastal Florida - this is an emotional, page-turning road trip that follows a trail of theories, all the way to a devastating revelation...

Philipa's Quick Book Review This is a superb thriller with great characters & plot. An author to watch. 10/10!
Lancashire Post/Pam Norfolk Blog Spot With its intricate plotting, fast-paced action and white-knuckle ride through secrets, scandals, and a complex web of clues, crimes and conundrums, this is both an absorbing mystery thriller and an entertaining race against time alongside a stellar cast of characters. With the delectable and determined Harper leading the charge, Reggie providing the sexual tension, and TJ steadying the course, this is a brilliant page-turning crime debut full of ingenious twists and turns, but saving its final knockout punch for the brilliant denouement. Don’t miss it!
Literary Lucie Book Review Take Me Home was a classic quest for answers. It is full of twists and turns, hidden secret codes, a cult, disguises, and the FBI; all components of a compelling and gripping search. It made for a very fast-paced and enjoyable read, definitely film material…
Once More With Reading Take Me Home is an emotional page-turner that I ended up devouring. Full of twists and turns this book will have you on the edge of your seat and have you wanting more. If you love a good mystery/thriller then you need to pick this one up. I had trouble putting it down because I had to know what happened next. It was absolutely brilliant and I cannot wait to see what Alex Hart comes out with next!
Books On The 747 The pace is fast, the plot developments keep coming and just when you think you’ve sussed out what’s happening, the narrative takes a swerve. What more could you want from a crime thriller?
My Reading Corner I had different scenarios working out in my head as to what could be happening and why May had been left but the ending, when it came, certainly had me floored. I wasn’t expecting that.
Afternoon Bookery I really enjoyed this complex thriller where it is so much more than expected. I wasnt sure how it was all linked, no one at first glance seemed connected and no one knows who May is, it was so intricately woven and a real journey to unravel. A great read overall.
